Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Services
Second Crew provides operational services for small businesses, including missed-call handling, no-show prevention, review management, customer reactivation, hiring support, and online profile optimization ("Crews"). Each Crew engagement begins with an audit and is followed by a setup period and ongoing monthly operations, as described on the applicable service page and in the client's written agreement.
2. Audit
The audit is a diagnostic review of the client's current operations. The audit fee is $250, which is credited toward any setup fee if the client proceeds with a Crew within 30 days. The audit produces a findings report. If Second Crew determines it cannot identify material savings or improvements, the client will be told so and no further obligation exists.
3. Setup & Monthly Retainer
Each Crew has a one-time setup fee and a monthly retainer as listed on the pricing page at the time of sign-up. Setup is typically completed within two weeks. Monthly retainers begin on the first day of the month following setup completion and are billed on the first of each month thereafter.
4. Cancellation
Either party may cancel any Crew at any time by providing written notice (email is sufficient). Upon cancellation, the Crew's monthly retainer will stop at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months. Setup fees are non-refundable once setup work has begun. There are no long-term contracts or minimum commitments.
5. Payment
Invoices are sent electronically and are payable within 15 days. Late payments may result in suspension of services. All fees are in US dollars. Second Crew reserves the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' notice; existing clients will be notified before any change takes effect.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to provide accurate information and timely access to the tools and platforms required for Second Crew to perform its services (e.g., Google Business Profile, booking system credentials, customer lists). Delays caused by the client's failure to provide necessary access or information do not alter the billing schedule.
7. Limitation of Liability
Second Crew makes every effort to deliver measurable results, but does not guarantee specific revenue outcomes, booking volumes, or review counts. Second Crew's liability for any claim arising from its services is limited to the total fees paid by the client for the specific Crew at issue during the three months preceding the claim. Second Crew is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Confidentiality
Second Crew will keep confidential all client business information, customer data, and operational details shared in the course of providing services. Client data will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to deliver the services (e.g., configuring a third-party booking system on the client's behalf).
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Essex County, Massachusetts.
